Visit Twyfelfontein with its rock engravings/ the burned mountain, the Petrified Forest and the organ pipes. We leave early each morning in an air-conditioned 4 x 4 Landrover and visit all these sights. We arrive back at iGowati in the lateafternoon in time for a nap and then dinner. This trip includes lunch packs, soft drinks,guide/driver, and vehicle and entrance fees at sights.

The Rock finger

See some of the most spectacular scenery in Namibia and the rock finger a sole remnant of an ancient Plato. Have lunch at the Rock finger lodge and enjoy your drive back at a leisurely pace. For this trip we leave at midmorning and return after lunch. Lunch, soft drinks, driver/guide, vehicle and entrance fees included.

The Himba village trip

We visit a working himba village farm near Kamanjab. Learn some interesting facts about the Himba people and their way of life. For this trip we leave early in the morning and return late afternoon. Vehicle, guide/driver, lunch packs and soft drinks included. excluding a food pack each group has to provide for the Himba’s.

Sceletoncoast park trip

A trip through the desolated area at the skeleton coast park. Visit some of the old shipwrecks and have a picnic lunch on the way. Lunch packs, soft drinks, entrance fees, guide/driver and vehicle included.

The white lady trip

Visit the white lady rock engraving at Brand berg near Uis. The brand berg is the highest mountain in Namibia. Have lunch at the White lady restaurant. We leave in the morning and return in the afternoon. Entrance fees, guide/driver, vehicle, lunch and soft drinks are included.

Donkey cart trips

This has to be pre-booked to ensure that we are able to arrange it. A trip through the town of Khorixas the way the Damara people travel. We visit the town and have a drink at a local sebien (bar) taste some of the local specialties like mopanie worm and interact with the Damara people, before returning to iGowati lodge.
